At last, Syarie High Court judge Othman Ibrahim had declared that Siti Fatimah Tan (pic) @ Tan Ean Huang is no longer a muslim as she never practised the teaching of Islam. Siti Fatimah, who is a buddhist by birth converted Islam for the sake of marrying her Iranian boyfriend. It was a pin drop silence when the judge delivered his verdict. Such a massive decision made the Muslim judge. He later chastised Penang Islamic Religious Council for failing to live up to its responsibilities and ensuring new converts truly understood the teachings of Islam. The council definitely one to blame for neglecting Siti Fatimah and didn't act quickly enough to save her faith (akidah). Another sad ending to our muslim friend who is revert back to her buddhist faith just because a group of high rank Islamic officer were to slow to take action.
