The Turks take their turn.....Hijab ban will go on in Turkey

In a major blow to the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK), Turkey's highest court annulled on Thursday, June 5, a constitutional reform bill easing restrictions on hijab in universities.

The law of February 9th making constitutional amendments to lift a ban on headscarf at universities has been cancelled," reads the Constitutional Court verdict cited by the Hurriyet daily.

The execution of the law has been cancelled.

The secular elite and opposition parties celebrated the annulment.

Conclusion, some might say living in crystal clear non-muslims country are better rather than living in what so called Muslims country like Turkey.
